In November of 2015, Michelle received a Comfort Care Package from Lisa’s Army. Today she’s the leader of Girl Scout Troop 9123 (Knights Service Unit, Philadelphia). This year, Michelle’s troop decided to become permanent Comforteers for Lisa’s Army. In May they visited our headquarters and made enough scrolls and cards for 60 Comfort Care Packages. In June, they hosted a Lemonade Stand Day at Christ the King School. With lots of planning and hard work, the girls raised enough money that day to fund more than 2 complete Comfort Care Packages!! We are so proud of the caring, love, and work these inspiring young ladies put forward to help comfort those battling cancer.
