Lisa’s favorite holiday was Halloween and she was affectionately called “Pumpkin”. In Lisa’s memory, Lisa’s Army holds The Pumpkins in the Park 5K every October to raise funds for our Comfort Care Packages. The race brings together families and friends in their Halloween best to parade their costumes and enjoy the fall weather in Philadelphia’s beautiful parks. We have pumpkin decorating, costume contests, fundraising competitions, and a photo stand. This year’s race will take place at Memorial Hall on October 8, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. and will feature a new team relay race!

Participating in the Pumpkins In the Park 5K Walk/Run is more fun when you share the experience with your co-workers, family, and friends. Your support is greater as a team because of your combined fundraising efforts! This year the top fundraising team wins your personal VIP Tent with breakfast!
THE GREAT PUMPKIN RELAY
New this year, The Great Pumpkin Relay. This event will consist of teams of three. Your goal? Work as a team to decorate your pumpkin along the race route and have your pumpkin cross the finish line first. Each pumpkin will be provided and weigh approximately 5 lb.
